We’ve just picked up our gold membership cards at Whipsnade Zoo!

The annual gold membership costs £260 for two adults and two kids and includes 10% discount at zoo shops, restaurants, zoo experiences and 50% off car entry. Silver membership, which is for admission-only, would have cost us £198.
Given that a single admission to Whipsnade would have set us back £100, both memberships represent great value. They also get you into London Zoo.
The only downside is the long wait to collect your membership cards – it took us 45 minutes!
Currently, members still need to book their visit so Whipsnade can control visitor numbers – you can’t just turn up.
